Ah very nice they are very handy i use them as well. currently making a black James. But they are great paints plus if you want to remove it just put a bit of sticky tape on it and pull it off and its back to the models originals colors.Β

Thanks well i have to picture up all ready showing updates. Using awdrys model as the main base line so am using a 3F and plan on modifying it to extend the buffer beam

I imagine this chap is meant to be the Red Engine seen briefly in the books?
I quite like him. It's amazing what a lick of paint (and the addition of sandboxes, didn't catch at the first glance!) can do.
Also, I like that you used the Stephen face. Seems to fit just right.

I made the sandboxes from card then painted them. I have a Hornby James and a Bachmann James, the Hornby became red and the Bachmann stayed as JamesΒ
