What a cool windmill. If you have Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro or GIMP I would use the dodging tool to make the windmill and maybe some of the other objects on land stand out.

I really like the look of your photo! Although, I really feel that the sunlight may be too supersaturated with yellow. It sort of steals the show from the windmill

Pedig van több is, csak jól el vannak dugva.
Amin meglepődtem, h kezünkbe nyomtak egy baromi nagy kulcsot és be lehetett menni körülnézni. Igaz viharos szélben kicsit félelmetes volt.

Megnéztem google maps-el, ott a balaton felett van valahol ugye ez a település?

Herendtől Hajmáskérig/Várpalotáig katonai lőtér! Ha szerencséd van, akkor csak egy tank vesz célba messziről, ha nem akkor egy-két MI-24-es harci helikopter nagyon közelről!

Nice image. The color range is great. Even as pseudo-HDR, that is a pretty amazing range.

That's interesting. They SWEAR you have to use multiple exposures to make it work, but that looks just great.

The program cannot make HDR from a single jpg, it needs at least 2-3 pictures. But from raw, it can do the tone mapping as you can see!

I'm trying to get a handle on tone mapping. I don't have that figured out just yet.
Just something on my list of things to learn.
I've been pretty happy with PS's adjust shadow/highlight, atleast up to this point.

Love it , I use a d80 , I see you used a SINGLE HDR, being that you have a Nikon and the workflow is similar to that of my d80 if you get a chance can you send me a note to a resource or even your personal instructions for an HDR from single raw, I use Lightroom , CS3 , Photomatix .. thanks a bunch

It's easy...
• Just open the single image in Photomatrix.
• Tonemap it as you would any HDR file (ctrl+T).

There are so many great elements to this photo, the sky, the windmill and the little village. To me, the most important thing is the windmill. I'd like this better if you'd have gotten even closer to it to make it more prominent. I like it that is not centered in the frame because it shows off the village. I'd even move the windmill more to the right. To me this is nearly perfect.
