That's really cool! I've never heard or tried Artweaver before, and I love Painter so much but with simpler version of it ?! Awesome !! ^^ I will try it now and I'm sure I will love it

Great thing is you can make your own painterly brush in Artweaver like in Photoshop. But it has many minor bugs speacially with the blending tools. If you paint more than smear, I would recommend artweaver. It has potential but is not well funded.

My favorite has always been Art Rage. Sometimes I got sidetracked and tried to experience other painting apps, but I still think AR is unique in the way of building up textures and brushworks. I am a big fan of anime and manga but when it comes to myself I decide to do something different. Go onto my blog gbwhisper.wordpress.com for my recent paintings.
As for the shortcut problem if your are using a PC you might need to disable some of the multitouch options. Also as I said the free version is much buggy than the full version. Or you can maybe post problems on their blog and hopefully they can give you a beta tester upgrade.

I see, thank you so much! I do agree I have AR4 too and I think it gives the traditional painting feeling more than any other programs.
I have seen your work style and it's pretty cool!
I've tried and I will send the bugs problem to them. I hope it works ^^
Have a great day!

what about artweaver... how would you compare them? because I'm wondering what program to download, and my friend recommended me between mypaint and artweaver... and she really liked mypaint.

I like Artweaver because I love its colour blending system which is similar to painter. Mypaint is maybe more close to Photoshop. You can try both free versions to start.

Thank you for your comment!
Yeah Artweaver is cool, but with many many minor bugs... Really like its simplicity. I have sent messages to Boris see if he can fix those problems soon..

The main reason I gave up using my mac is because of that. Also win7 is amazing I have to say.
