An M511 Springbok on display, circa 2544. This particular vehicle, Callsign 'Cossack-4,' belongs to the 92nd Mechanized "Winged Hussars" Division, stationed out of Actium. The 92nd Mechanized Division, along with the rest of the 3rd Armored Corps (Which includes the venerable 53rd Armored Division), were destroyed in the Battle of Actium's final weeks, with the division suffering over 90% casualties. The M511 were outfitted with Non-explosive Reactive Armor (NxRA) due to their constant use against the Insurrectionists, even during the Covenant War. With its high versatility and modularity, the Springbok would prove invaluable in the defense of Humanity during the Covenant War, but were largely regulated to defensive or rear echelon roles save for dire situations during a Covenant Invasion, primarily due to its poor maneuverability compared to the M12 Warthog and M313 Bison.
