If you ask me, you shouldn’t even need to think about it.

An unusual and rare variant of New Imperial soldier, the Carbon-Freezeing Trooper (or C-F Trooper) was a uniquely-equipped capture-focused specialist utilizing liquid carbonite to ensnare their targets. In most cases, they were deployed as individuals to apprehend enemy HVTs, waiting until all other resistance had been crushed before dousing them in carbonite and transporting them in blocks to secure black sites. This method of capture and transfer was especially effective against Jedi, who would be unable to utilize their Force-abilities to escape while trapped in suspended animation. While inefficient in direct combat, the trooper’s armored bulk and an energy combat shield on their gauntlet gave them adequate protection from blaster fire and shrapnel. It also utilized advanced heating coils to keep any excess carbonite emitted from the trooper's sprayer from freezing on their armor. Beneath their armor, troopers were augmented with cybernetics to both support their heavy suits and render them immune to carbonite sickness/poisoning, while what flesh remained was simply immunized to these afflictions.
