I was really caught by this piece - I mean, really caught. The colour and form of the bust caught me immediatly from the pin up browsing - I had to see it.
Firstly, we're gonna look at vision. You've used bright warm colours which direactly contrast against the grey/blue eyes, being cold colours, this causes a point of contrast withint he piece, almost as though reflecting the personality of the subject and thus an inner anger, upset or even heart break. The light in this image is just lovely; you brighten the soft skin tones, draw tonal lines into the hair and bring futher life to the already bouncy colours - you emphises upon tone barriers, making a definitive point of presepction to the piece.
Secondly, orginality - it's obviously a potrait, though its the traditional type of potriat (head/shoulder bust facing the viewer with a level of direaction) I think it would have been interesting to see something... more dramatic, I suppose; defiantly it would have been nice to see you play around with ideas of the portrait rather than front appeal. Though, it's still effective and stunning either way.
Thridly, techinque. The new ability of digital art has utterly alluded me, I don't touch it personally with a yard pole, but when others produce some real snazzy stuff it becomes a true inspiration to give it ago; you do exactly this. You transfer the techinques that are seen in traditional oil paintings, also. THe overlayer colour (the skin tones primarly to produce different areas of light and dark) and creating contrast through tonal apperance in different areas is just brilliant. T he light area of the hair particularly is dashing, the lighagreen tine o the tona aea is just great though I personally feel that the really deep shades of brown need a tad of more highlighting - but that's only personal. Otherwise i think you're tonal mark making is stunning.
Impact? Impact is astonishing - she stares into your soul, she makes the viewrs feel something; after all thats the point of art.

You should pay more attention to the ears while drawing, her left ear looks like a pinch of chewed meat in this picture.

Yeah, your nose drawings really improved a lot. You should study some ears right away. You're welcome, keep on drawing.
