i've never been around collies much. also, i guess it depends on which collie? border collie - yes. lassie collie - i suspect not. aussies are a lot like border collies, except maybe not as energetic. but only by a fraction. they always need something to do or theyll go digging in the trash for a chew toy or up on ure dresser. they are, however, very well-behaved when disciplined, very obedient and loyal. i rarely need to put mine on a leash when we go for walks b/c he stays right w/ me. very, very intelligent...
