................Pencil and watercolour.................A3 ..Langton paper and Durer watercolours, then a touch of gold........as I drew this I was entranced by the beauty of the ivy,
, the way it twists and naturally goes into these beautiful shapes.. I have a holly tree in my garden,, which has berries ... its now quite old and very large,, ...the birds love the berries and they come and go in October... Green is such a special colour,, painting this made me realise how many types of green there are ...
in reality there must be millions.. its is a very calming colour... in a about 1950 , when they were studying colour,, it was found that if a surgeon wore green clothes it actually stemmed any bleeding , and the patient recovered more quickly.. so here's to Green !!.
