I was sitting on the bus waiting to get home one day, when suddenly I realized one thing about light. The only part about light that really matters is the part that reaches your eye, right? Then, figuratively speaking, one could perceive light and our perception of the world as nothing more than a relief of light "pressed" against our eyes. Everything outside of that area is complete darkness, because without eyes everything IS complete darkness with things in it. So I kinda figured humans looking like pale things walking around in utter darkness with nothing more than their "light-relief" guiding them was kinda nice! So I drew it! It's just a quick sketch and the anatomy is a bit off, but again I like it because of the feeling

Like I've been meaning to tell you all, I've been more active with pen&paper than PS/sai lately, and I finally got to upload them. Please tell me what you think!
I promise you, this picture looks better IRL! I tried to touch it up a little in PS, but our scanner just has a way of not agreeing with the level of quality I wish from my paintings >_>

I have to thank you for making me feel like a celebrity for a moment (never had 12 messages at once before), and then apologise for being a bit let down (when seeing the numbers didn't refer to fanmail for me). However, watching this cavalcade of creativity has left me feeling kinda upbeat. It is always so nice to see everyone actually put up their great stuff. (My God, I really do start to sound like an arts teacher...)
Anyway, great contrast and interesting thoughts. They do tend to come at the most unsuspected moments... The shoulders and neck could use some work, but the face and hands are awesome.
