Sculpture named "broad torso"

by myself, Michael Priester,

made from Robinia wood

Finished and oiled after having had it long time on the work bench!

Now as the oil has penetrated and dried the surface has become a wonderful silky finish.

In recent times I became more and more attracted by timber with defaults, knots, irregularities. In my view these result in more interesting sculptures as the dialogue between the wood and the shape is becoming more prominent.
