Here's my take on the scrapped Kadokawa/Daiei kaiju Monga!

"Marshmallows remind me of going camping with my daddy. I could eat them all night long. Of course he did make me cough them back up again for breakfast."

Species: Irradiated prehistoric Monitor Lizard

Description: Varan's cousin, Monga is a prehistoric monitor lizard from the Jurassic period who was exposed to cold radiation and awokened in 2011 where he flew off to Monster Island only to find his cousin and Godzilla fighting off a huge swarm of giant mosquitoes. Monga intervened and managed to consume most of the swarm while also freezing the rest in place with his ice breath, Varan thanked his cousin for the help and Monga respectfully bowed down to Godzilla who allowed him to stay on Monster Island.

Abilities:
Gliding flight: Monga can glide at speeds of up to Mach 1.6, the same gliding speed as his cousin Varan.

Ice Breath: Much like Anguirus, Monga can shoot an icy blue atomic ice breath from his mouth, his eyes and horns glow a bright blue when he unleashes the attack.

Ice Spikes: Monga can shoot a series of ice spikes from his tail club.

Boering: Much like Anguirus and the Jötunns, Monga can burrow through ice very quickly due to his extreme body temperature.

Physical Abilities: Monga has a set of bull-like horns on top of his head that he uses to ram opponents, he used them during a fight with Pulgasari. Monga had a powerful bite force shown as when he bit down on the giant mosquitoes that where threatening Godzilla and Varan. In addition, Monga can use his Shunosaurus-like tail to clobber opponents.
