Thought I would try a female Avenger this time. I wanted to try drawing something more comic looking, so I ended up looking at a lot of source material so that I wouldn't have it look like me usual drawings. Did a few minor tweaks to the suit for a more plausible for combat.Related content

Wow... I REALLY like your interpretation of Spider-Woman's costume! It feels more "up-to-date" than her classic old "red & yellow". I like how you have the collar-area a different shade of red than the rest of the suit... makes it seem like that part is made out of another material. And the actual collar is a nice touch... collars seem to be the "in-thing" now for updated superhero costumes. (Most of DC's New 52 designs have collars: Superman, Nightwing, Green Lantern, etc.)
I would really like to see this costume in more of a pin-up type pose so we can all fully appreciate your concept! (And honestly, I think if/when they have Spider-Woman in an Avengers movie, they should definitely take this concept into consideration!!)

And collars definitely seem to be the thing right now. I think I did it out of practicality with having the neck protectedβ¦ that and it just felt right. I will have to take the pin up idea into consideration for one of my next drawings!Β
