wait, I'm confused. in this picture was Goliath the one who tied her up and tried to do something to her except he turned to stone before he could do it, or was it someone else who tied Elisa up but Goliath scared him off before he did something to her but Goliath didn't get a chance to untie her because of the stone-turning thing?

Well I Guess The Person Who Tied Her Up Is Gonna Have To Put Her Some Where So They Won't Find Her

Em....the show creators stated numerous times that Elisa WAS NOT and NEVER WOULD BE a DiD; sorry to burst your bubble and ruin your fantasy, but she's going to wiggle herself into a position that lets her cut off her ropes using Golith's claws, take off her gag, track down and beat the crap out of who ever did this, then return and sit with Golith till sundown.
This is not ment to be a flame or anything like that, I'm just sating my observation based off what I know about the show. All I'm trying to say is that this would never have happened in the canon universe. Again this is just my thoughts on the picture. The last thing I want to do is start a fight with any fellow Gargoyles fans.

lady, please relax, this is called fan art, and therefore not canon to the show, so what if there are some fans that would like to see Ms.Maza get the full treatment? It's their bit of cheesecake to have.

Rescuer turned to stone, eh? What a fortunate opportunity to snatch up this helpless damsel while her hero must wait the whole day to come back to life and go searching for her again.

Oh, the memories...
It was indeed a great show, I liked how dark and sinister it was in comparison to other cartoons.
I digress. Great work, I really like the setting - her hero has arrived and yet he can't help her. Brilliant!

Conceptually, this is the most intelligent peril picture I've seen all year. It combines elements that only a fan of the show would appreciate. The detail is incredible and you did both characters justice. I heartily agree that Eliza did not get enough DID on the show. I think it is because they wanted to portray that she would not be your typical damsel in distress. From episode to episode, Goliath probably got chained up more than she did. As far as peril, I remember her falling alot from high heights and Goliath or some other Gargoyle catching her before she went split. I guess that is kind of DID, but not the bondaged kind most prefer. With the recent proliferation of Disney characters in peril on the internet, I'm surprised I have not seen more DID pictures of her turn up. I'm glad you took the time to create this. Awesome work.

Cool, and the whole turning into stone thing is an inadvertantly hilarious plot device. What if a gargoyle is flying over the ocean and the sun rises? He turns to stone and sinks to the bottom. Once he is so deep that the sun rays no longer hit him, he turns back into flesh and drowns. Or, he swims upwards, but the suns rays turn him into stone again and he sinks down. And the process goes on and on until he eventually runs out of air. Or, what if he is airborne when the sun rises, and he turns to stone midair and falls to the ground.
Poor Gargoyles. Definitely the best thing Disney ever created, but that sun weakness gives them such a handicap.
