Description So, after completing my Power Rangers movie poster trilogy. I was trying to figure out what to do next. I had been working on this previously, so I decided to go back and finish it.

The idea for this was that the movie takes place 15 years after the girls came into existence. The girls are trying to find their way in a world that they no longer have a purpose in. They defeated all of their primary villains as kids, then soon realize the reason they were born is no longer present. They still live in their home Townsville, but for the most part they have decided on different paths.

Blossom has forgone college and gone to work for a local company, now quickly moving up the ranks toward CEO. A fallout with Professor Utonium has resulted in a rift that not only split her and her sudo-father, but also her sisters.

Bubbles is in college, but is more interested in partying than learning. She believes life learning is far superior to book learning and has developed an interesting outlook on people and life. Surprisingly intelligent, she sees things with an unconventional perspective.

Buttercup works at a local fast food place. Often flipping out on costumers and employees alike, but keeps her job due to the fact that the manager has a crush on her. Even though all of the supervillans have been either defeated or dissapeared from Townsville, thugs and criminals are still around. She spends most of her free time seeking out these criminals and taking them down.

A returning villain will soon force this disgruntled family back together again...

I really like the choices I made for the cast.
Blossom---------------- Emma Stone
Bubbles----------------- Emma Watson
Buttercup--------------- Ellen Page
Professor Utonium----- Zachary Quinto
Former Mayor---------- Christopher Lee
Sera Bellum------------ Christina Hendricks

Great poster, I would go see this movie.  I disagree with your choice for mayor though.  Since the mayor was really short, wouldn't you want Peter Dinklage or maybe even Brad Williams since the mayor is there more for comedy anyway?

Awesome poster and great realistic in a fantasy way idea. As a movie, I cannot see it as a sequel type movie but I could see it as a premier movie for maybe ... Just my opinion... a drama-action/adventure but with a little Sifi (for the powers bit)  TV series. basically attracting the teen - adult audience.    and a nice touch is that oh  lets say they try to hide there powers (not use them as much) in order for them to blend in as normal girls, and the series would dwell on how they are coping with everyday life and not using there powers. especially when something that rises that they could easily take care of using them. Just a thought

This is awesome

But who could direct it? (my guess is Zack Snyder from 300, Man of Steel and Sucker Punch)

Hmm...I guess it's an interesting idea if you look at it from a professional's point of view.  I'm not really into the show, but seeing how many reboot ideas we've been seeing these days, released or unreleased, I guess it could work.

Aside from that, nice lookin' PhotoShop work.

I can't see someone as serious as Christopher Lee as the Mayor.  Maybe Mickey Rooney, being the short, funny old guy.

Its awesome ! Ya know, when I think about Buttercup, all I see is Kristen stewart as Joan Jett in the runaway movie. Its just so her ! xD

I hope you're not going for a dark version. Keep the comedy in the forefront.

GeekTruth64 In reply to MarvelComics1985 [2014-03-07 17:48:48 +0000 UTC]

No not dark. Just not candy and lollipops. Main idea was to make the Townsville seen in the show, what the girls saw through their eyes. What we see now is what Townsville is in reality. The comedy being more subdued, but present.

I have mixed feelings about this. Looking at other cartoons that have been transformed into movies I'd be a bit more worried. Dragonball, The Last Airbender? But this poster is awesome regardless, good work!

Generally adapting cartoons into movies, ends up being garbage, because people who know nothing about the cartoon, do the adaptions and the studios don't care about quality control. They know people will watch it for the name recognition alone. Which is why we get shit like Dragonball and Last Airbender.
Thanks for the com

No problem! I completely agree and also they try to male it realistic but when the best part about the cartoon is that its farfetched

I don't know how to feel here... I like it cause the actresses are amazing and I would give it a chance for the reason that it would be interesting to watch without the eyes of a child anymore. Although after many failed attempt on making live action out of cartoons and games, I'm very much conflicted here.

The movie remake of a cartoon I hated most was Avatar, The Last Airbender.

I hate it so much... (As a person who actually watched the original series and all the seasons. But for someone who only has seen the movie and has no interest to sit through 4 amazing seasons of this series might have a different opinion...)

GeekTruth64 In reply to AnonAzure [2014-03-07 17:22:42 +0000 UTC]

Last Airbender was complete shit. But  Shamalomadingdong is garbage, so I had a feeling it would suck beforehand. Worst movie I've seen in years. And it had such potential to be the new Lord of the Rings...
Dragonball Evolution a close second

Good choice in actors- to be honest though I would've switched it around a bit.  Ellen Page as Bubbles because of her softer and cute-ish features; Emma Stone as Buttercup because her looks depict her as sharp and fierce; and then Emma Watson as Blossom because her looks are calmer and more dignified. But that's just me- cool poster!!

I love the concept. Love your choices for the girls. I think that the returning villain should be Him and not Mojo-Jojo, because I would rather see them fight a transvestite demon than a ridiculous CGI monkey with a bad Japanese accent. Oh, oh, I think Jared Leto would make an awesome Him.

Dragon Ball Evolution???
I had forget that movie (I can't even call it movie )
Well, I'm sure that this movie if would exists wouldn't be the same
U.S.A loves their creations by their people
Now, if PPG would be an anime, I'm sure that really would be like DBE

Not true. Hollywood can fuck anything up. It seems the only thing they can get right are comic book movies. But anything else is doomed

The last airbender was true to the source material, I'll give it that, but that didn't stop it from blowing.

Speed racer was not even memorable, let alone any good (it's so unmemorable that It might actually be new to you that there was one)

the flinstones, while it was well casted, was garbage.

Mario bros.... Garbage

Not Dragonball Evolution!!!!
I didn't really take much time to flesh out a plot, but one thing that would make it better than Evolution is that the actors are actually good...
Thanks for the comment.

My problem is that I HATE live action movies that modernize or change that main plot to make it "realistic" fuck that dude... The director was just to lazy to see the source material...Not to say I don't like your work here. It's actually kinda cool looking.

I don't mind it, if the story is good., but usually  like Dragonball Evolution and Street Fighter Legend of Chun Li, these movies are clearcut "don't give a shit, money grabbing, cash in on IP movies."
I can see how this can appear to fall into that shit category, but my thoughts while doing this were more to show what may have happened to the girls when they grew up. I wanted to develop them more as characters. I like the idea of the Townsville we saw in the show, to be through the eyes of children and now that lens is gone, we see Townsville for what it truly is...

The one that was most disapointinh for me was the live action tekken movie... I made fun of the street fighter one so badly because I hate street fighter anyway, so I was funny to me that they got a shitty movie adaption. But then they torched tekken... And shit got real for me and live action video game and cartoon films...
