Original drawing by the talented Anyae [link]I finally bought a tablet and I think that working with a line drawing will help me to get used to how differently it performs to a mouse
I asked Anyae if I could try adding colour to a couple of her drawings and she kindly agreed.
Here is the first, it's Rhage and Mary from the Black Dagger Brotherhood books by J.R. Ward

uummmm...the dragon had lime green scales, a black main, and i think purple claws...but nice picture!

The original colouring was so strong it made it impossible (for me) to keep the focus where it needed to be from the artwork - to me the original Anyae artwork was focused around both Rhage and his beast having Mary as the centre of their lives and I wanted to keep that flow when it was coloured.

Perhaps I'll have a go at colouring the art with just Rhage and his beast alone at some point.
