I skipped last week's speedpainting to work on my contest piece. Then I considered skipping this week's because of the holiday on Monday. But I decided to go ahead and do it tonight. Seriously, not a clue what I was doing. Just playing with colors (did this one directly in color this time), different lighting, and a slightly different way of painting (did a rough sketch with a big brush and merged it early on). Not exactly the most unique of ideas, but fun.

This one was painted outside of my usual evening speedpainting time slot, so I'm not exactly certain how long it took. I'm guessing 2.5-3 hours.
