I have been wanting to make this for a while. This is Katniss' mockingjay pin from The Hunger Games Trilogy. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. It'll be perfect to wear when I go get the third installment later this month.

I wish I did! It is made from gold sculpey clay. Throughout the piece there is wire to give it stability. At the end of baking it I glazed it with sculpey glaze and then super glue a pin to the back of it.

How did you make it, if you don't mind me asking? I'm thinking of doing a Katniss cosplay, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to make a pin of my own.

I don't mind. I first made a wire inside for all the pieces. Then I covered them all in gold sculpey. Then it's baked. Then I put a layer of sculpey glaze on it and then superglue the pin to the back.
