My country is currently in the process of presidential elections, and the rhetoric used against LGBT+ people in this campaign has been particularly vile and dehumanizing. They've been called a "rainbow disease". Some have literally said that they're "not people". The insults spewed by the current president and parliament members from his party, as well as the Catholic Church hierarchy, are terrifying and disgusting, and made me feel furious and scared for many of my friends. ⠀

I'm at high risk for Covid, so I can't even really go to a protest right now - so I decided that I'm going to create a series of artworks with #LGBT couples. It's a small thing, I know - but it's something. It's my way of saying that you're visible, and that your stories matter. ⠀

Here's the first of the photomanips I will be making - sci-fi themed. I will be moving on to gentlemen and a classical fantasy theme next.
