Southern CarpathiansAnd Blessed May You BeAs I promised, today's feature is about you, my watchers. You are a blessing to me, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are wonderful artists as well as wonderful people. I wish you all a blessed week! Today it snowed a little bit, and I saw a white pigeon, one of the few who grace this town with their sweet beauty. Earlier this week, I had to bury two of them struck by motorists (the second, I presume, while bemoaning its mate's loss, for it was still warm unlike the other). I was the soul of anguish on their discovery, but covered them with soil near the window of the Blessed Sacrament chapel of Our Lady of Guadalupe church which they frequent. So the first picture is a white pigeon, to pay tribute- and the second relates to Our Lady of Guadalupe. I hope you will enjoy the song at the end, also. Until later, with love! -Debra

Featured: Is Today Too Early?Today. What will I do today that I postponed yesterday, and all the days before that? What do we find brings us lasting joy? Is it what we're given, or what we've done with it, that makes for fulfilment? What will I postpone today, because it's not truly important, in looking back, as things I think I have no time for, because I fail to make time for what actually does matter? This is what we forget most as we scramble frantically through life, and sometimes--no, on a regular basis--we need to slow down and take stock, rearrange our priorities, and reorient our steps in the proper direction. After today's feature, I'll do two more this size, then switch to less frequent ones with more works by the same artist, in order to devote more time to creating art, than collecting and sharing others. I'm also attempting to lose weight, so I'll be sharing that progress in the "Poll" section.
