“Why do you wear goggles?” Mikey asked the other boy curiously.
”Um.” The other boy tugged at his gloves before answering.
“I kind of need them when things explode?”
Mikey’s eyes lit up at that;
“Things explode at your house? Really? Can I see? PleasePleasePleasePlease!?”
The boy took a step back, taken by surprise of the sudden interest.
“I don’t want them to explode, they just do…” He mumbles uncertainly.
Mikey just grins.
“That’s okay! I bet you’re really smart, ‘cause your parents does all kind of cool stuff so you gotta be and I really wanna see the things you do and please let me?”
The boy smiled shyly, a light blush on his cheeks.
“O-Okay.”

Once again, I got an idea. ^^'
And once again I drew Donnie first to it... <__<;
Lots of errors that I didn't have the energy to correct. Sorry :3

Anyway!

I call the idea 'Goggles'.
It's in an AU where humanoid animals are normal.
The turtles are ten years old.

Donnie's parents own a place where they repair other peoples cars and bikes, and such. His cousin is Casey. (XD)
He is very absent minded and almost always his answers turns into questions, because he is so unsure of things. He hasn't really had any friends.

Mikey lives with his godfather (actually, it should be called godgrandpa), Splinter Hamato, and his cousins April and Angel. Splinter teach troublesome kids martial arts and how to control themselves.
Mikey got an orange cap. ^^

Raph's parents own a book shop. Yes, they do. He is one of those troublesome kids, so he visits Splinter a lot and got a weird friendship with Mikey. Though, close to Donnie, he blushes, stumbles and stutters a lot. Yup, he got a crush on the geek without knowing it. XD
His outfit is a lot like the one he has in 'Golden', with red bands around his wrists and ankles and cloth around his neck. ^^

Leo's parents own a pizza place.
Needless to say, Mikey got a crush on him just because he smells like pizza more often than not.
Leo has also managed to get close to Splinter, so he gets free lessons in martial arts. (suck up!)
The funny thing with this Leo, though, is that he is very awkward and clumsy. As in, he say the wrong things all the time and lose his footing a lot. The fact that he likes to stick to Donnie is pretty much a given; but Mikey can easily convince him that stupid ideas are cool ideas.
Leo is dressed a little like Donnie, but in blue and without goggles. Also, his gloves cover half of his arms and his weird foot things are a bit shorter than Donnie's.

And that is it. This group made up of four, really different kids goes on strange adventures. Such as following that weird cat or find the owner of this yucky diary... and making sure that Mikey won't look inside said yucky diary.
