[I'm already halfway through Season 5, but I'm gonna backtrack to Season 1 and binge on The X-Files properly. I can't believe it's over. It's so bittersweet. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Even though he gave us much grief, we still owe Chris Carter a thank you. Thanks for trolling us and making us swoon over the show & the characters.
You, sir, have a talent for messing with our feelings. But we're still grateful, even though we now hate bees and whispering. 🐝🙊😂]. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The most amazing show and the greatest love story wouldn't have happened without you. Thank you for making us believe! ⠀

Although Gillian & David's acting snapped my heart strings into disrepair, I found the finale to be crap in terms of how the story played out tbh. *cough* becausechriscarter*cough* Hahaha!
We really, REALLY did NOT need ANOTHER cliffhanger, CC. Gillian ain't coming back to play Scully and I really can't picture the series continuing with only Mulder. Just wouldn't be the same.

It's a bit of a stretch, but if they do continue the series I hope they make it to be about their kids maybe? It's a bit cliche IK, but imagine they're second kid, (their currently unborn kid), being a badass and carrying on Mulder and Scully's work. Knowledgeable in science but also open minded to other realms of possibilites. He/she meeting their older brother, William. They both help each other out with cases. William operating in the shadows to take down the people who gave his parents hell in the past and protecting his little sibling.
I would cry an ocean of joyful tears.

Anyway, the only consolation rn is that Mulder and Scully are together. They're a little broken and shocked at the moment but at least they have each other for support. And they have a "PLUS ONE" to look forward and tend to. I also like to believe that William will find his way back to them.
