Description
I was running out of Caramelldansen related titles, so I decided to use a Jappanese misheard lyric lol.

So Caramelldansen has officially become 20 years old as of today. To many it's not big a deal, but to me, I knew I had to make something for it. I mean it was the very thing that single-handedly boosted my 2000s-early 2010s nostalgia that lives on in my heart to this very day.

So I decided to draw, Caramel, Peanut, and Choco, three genuine OCs I made because I loved the vibe of Caramell and Caramelldansen so much (I also tried to mimic the eyes of the 2008 Caramella Girls models for these guys' eyes, so I hope it's not too freaky).

I made the background in FireAlpaca first, but then decided it needed some extra oomph. So I whipped out Gimp for the first time in 8 months and added lighting everywhere. I should use gimp more often for backgrounds lol.

Ive expressed very recently Ive been wanting to rewrite the story of these three. The main reason I wanted to do so in the first place is because the designs of the 2008 Caramella Girls had so so much room for personality (minus their dead faces lol), and also because from my own general knowledge the history of the Caramella Girls and things that have happened surrounding them the past years is.....interesting to say the least. I wanted to make a story based off the characters that both gave them actual personalities and lives besideds sunshine, candy, and rainbows. But also kinda removed the....weirdness of the actual band's history (Caramella Girls I mean. Far as I know Caramell is fine). I think the original story I did for them kinda succeeded in that, but it could've used a bit more.

Since this is also kinda an OC revival picture (even though Caramell showed up less than 2 months ago), I'll tell you more about these 3 because I've also been fixing up their personalities too.

Caramel: Caramel is the middle sibling of the buch and is also the leader of their family band. They're generally pretty cheerful and they're full of great ideas, though often those ideas are quite ambitios and not many make it out of Caramel's imagination. They're a huge fan of anime and stuff, mainly because it was a big part of their childhood. It was their idea to start the whole band thing with their siblings after being inspired by their mom, Miko and Mako, and many other pop singers from their homecountry of Sweden. And that band of theirs is still going strong. They're often very nostalgic of the past, and loves to talk about it with their siblings.

Peanut: Peanut is the oldest sibling of the bunch. She's a little bit of an introvert, but she's a very sweet person once she gets comfortable with you. She's the one who writes lyrics for the songs she and her siblings preform. At first she wasn't totally into the pop star singer thing, but she did want to have some fun with her siblings. She eventually saw the appeal in Caramel's interests, and sometimes watches things related to them, but she ultimately puts more focus into her work, and nowadays her writing ability.

Choco: Choco is the youngest sibling of the bunch. He's very confident in himself, and cares very much for his older siblings. He's also quite assertive, and will try to argue about anything he doesn't agree with. He's most known for coming with the choreography for all of the band's songs, because he just loves to dance. Choco has been striving to be the best role model to young teens he can be ever since he and the others became pop stars, and he thinks he's been doing a good job at doing so.

Hopfully I'll get this story back up and running again soon, but for now, I'm just going to think about the fact that Caramelldansen is two decades old and just how much time has passed...
