Are they hard to use? I've red on the internet that they're difficult to blend and that you have to work really fast because of their dry speed. Do you first draw a sketch on the canvas?
I'm sorry that I'm bothering you with so many questions. I've recently bought acrylic and oil paints. and I just don't know how to begin and work with them! Could you give me some advice?

Acrylics can be difficult to use if you try to do too big an area at one time, because they do dry really quickly, i tend to do smaller areas and keep the brush wet, that way you can blend them as you go. Oils are easier to work with as they tend to stay wet so blending is a lot easier, plus you can always remove them if you make a mistake, but once your picture is finished it can take a long time for it to dry (my landscapes took about 5 days)
I don't sketch my pics first, (only because i know i would never follow my lines lol).
