This is 's OC, Kaze. I decided to sprite him for no particular reason. Just felt like it.

Background story (for those who don't know this character already):
Kaze used to be a lonesome, quiet and reserved human until he've met a mermaid that completely changed his life forever. Fascinated by his mermaid, he was tempted into living with forever. Having overheard of Kaze's plead, the seawitch sent her assistant to bring him to her lair under the sea to make a deal with him. The witch suggested for Kaze to become a merman so he could both have his girl and be as free as a fish. Of course, every simple deal comes with a hard price. The only thing she needed from him was his immortal soul, since mermaids do not have souls like humans do but can live a seemingly immortal life. Kaze felt uneasy giving up his soul, along with his humanity, but his love for the mermaid tempted him so sign the contract and sell his soul (which ended up in the sea witch's nautilus shell under her possession).

After he becomes a merman upon drinking the potion, Kaze became satisfied with the transformation and swam off to meet with his mermaid, who was just as surprised as he was of his recent change. With the two of them together under the sea, Kaze couldn't regret giving up his old life for a lifetime change to be with a mermaid under the sea...or so he thought. His new life under the sea took a much bigger toll when an incident killed his mermaid and left his heart mentally scared. Knowing he couldn't ask for a refund from the witch, he couldn't do much in his depressed state until the call of the sea helped soothed his mental, while making it a bit cold in the process. The sea made him feel comfortable enough to rid himself of the pains and stresses he had endured, making him feel free of everything. Embracing it, Kaze spent an eternity at sea as a lonesome merman without considering going back to his previous life.

Keep in mind, the story may've changed since this description, so yeah. I wanted to add the shell necklace, but couldn't find an appropriate sized seashell to use, so I scrapped it. Feel free to go to his page and see all that people have made for this character. Hope you like it, .
