Title: Prisoner of the DJD

Fulcrum winced as he was shoved onto his knees by Helex, staring up at Tarn, Kaon, Vos, and Tesarus. He had feared this moment for a long time, condensation trickling down his brow as the DJD leader gazed him over, probably contemplating a slow, horrific death for his act of treason. He could at least die happy knowing that he had spared The Scavengers from such a fate, having snuck out of the safety of the ship while his friends slept, feeling a pang of guilt for leaving his lover, Misfire, alone in their berth after sharing one last act of intimacy. Once far away, he made no effort to hide his energy signature, and it wasn’t long before he was snatched up.

“This is…rather surprising,” Tarn muttered. “You’ve been on the run from us for so long, and Helex has told me that you put up no resistance. What has compelled you to relinquish your life so hastily? Perhaps…protecting someone dear to your spark?”

Fulcrum tensed and gulped.

Tarn let out a dismissive sigh. “Hmm…it matters little to me. All that matters is scratching out another traitor’s name from the list and moving on to the next target.”

Fulcrum’s optics narrowed as Vos turned toward Tarn and spoke in a language he couldn’t understand.

Tarn chuckled at Fulcrum’s confusion. “My friend here is very eager to find out which method of execution to use on you. Mmm…there are so many to choose from. It’s a difficult decision.”

Fulcrum quivered in terror as Tarn approached him and roughly grabbed his chin, forcing his helm up until their optics were locked together.

“But there’s no real rush,” Tarn stated. “You’ve been such a nuisance. It’s only fitting that we make you suffer before finally snuffing your traitorous spark.” He released Fulcrum and turned his back. “Helex…since you found our guest…you have the privilege of entertaining him first. Just remember not to seriously injure or kill him. Everyone will be expecting a turn when you’re finished.”

Panic swept through Fulcrum as Helex hauled him up with a wicked smirk. He wanted to fight and beg for mercy simultaneously, but he knew it would only bring about more pain. The DJD were not known for compassion, and he resigned himself to his fate, wondering how he was going to be ‘entertained’ by the giant carrying him off.
