Ironically enough, the recent brush fires caused this week's morning sunrises to be ridiculously spectacular and eerily beautiful, creating red skies and reflected light shadows like this one, on the wall behind my room, where the photographer (me) is silhouetted against a background of redishness. Okay, so that isn't a word.

Tightly cropped. Sure, I could have fixed the slightly askew "frame" but I didn't want to.

I'm glad DevArt added "abstract" as a category, this wouldn't have fit in any other slot.
