Lol. I actually kinda like them. There's something strangely appealing about that dark-skinned Kisame, especially with that deep voice... Plus, realistically, people aren't blue in real life, and I've only seen dark-skin Kisame in Modern Day fanfics. So, I think the dark skin is an acceptable alternative.

hehe, I like kisame with a deep voice but in the anime his voice is more in the tenor range... =/

AND WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT... there are TOTALLY blue people in real life!! XD lol... it's just weird to think about Kisame as anything other than blue XD
but I don't actually mind the others that much.. lolz

*sigh* Yeah, I know... First time I heard his voice, I went "Wait. What?" I'd been reading the manga up until then and had pictured his voice WAY deeper. Lol.

Honey, I know those fics by MEMORY. In fact, I constantly revisit them because I love them so much. As I do with all the memorable, well-written KisaIta fics I find. *sighs happily* I think my favorite, set in the Canon Universe, is a fanfic called "Selfish." Holy crap. The characterization, it's so SPOT-ON. I love it!

No, no, no! When I say "Selfish" is in-character, it IS in-character. It is... wow. Just wow. I adore it to pieces. The way the author writes Itachi is absolutely amazing, in my opinion. LOVE IT.
