Here's my first ever proper cosplay (please ignore my pathetic attempt at Harry Potter's Cho Chang).
The costume was hand made, besides the Zentai suit and boots I bought (which I altered with paint and sew work). I found some time besides my crazy Major Project to do this and the results were quite worth it!This was at the Cardiff International Comic & Animation Expo over the weekend. Coincidentally my university was invited to run a booth there to introduce/advertise their courses to do with animation and games. and I were chosen to represent the work from our Games Design course. I was already going, but I guess this gave me all the more reason to go!

Thanks Gill! I had so much fun!!! Apparently the character I cosplayed isn't a very common one, so a lot of Marvel fans were surprised to see me.

I love wigs. I bought a white one and it's so pretty! Granted, it's a cheap one, so my dark hair shows through in spots.

It was Photoshop. Reminds me of a funny 'commercial' I saw advertising Photoshop as a beauty product ;D I've never worm contacts. My eyes get irritated easily, so would not likely be good for them. But yes, that was the wig! My bf said I looked like my Mom in it

I've never actually seen adverts of Photoshop, but it does work wonders on photographs! Even this one, I had to add a bit of light on the face because the sun was so strong that day.

It was a fake commercial and they slightly altered the name. It was very silly. It was meant as one of those altered perspective of beauty public service things. Since women have a very negative self image, especially young women. Due to magazines making us all skinny and without blemishes and more perfect than reality.

Yeah that makes a lot of sense. I think most people in the UK generally have a good attitude about that, or maybe I just know really decent minded people so I never have to worry about that issue. I see it more on American TV than I do here anyways.

I never read magazines or watch TV, so I have a very good mental picture of my butt being just fine as big as it is ;D
