OH MY GOSH I ALMOST FORGOT
Exactly one year ago on this day I submitted my very first drawing of Dr Dreadful!!

*sniff* Aw, he's grown so much.

Now, normally I don't draw birthday pictures for my characters (wait this doesn't count as a drawing), but in the past year Dread has been an important character in my life. I never had a character develop so much in such a short period of time, and I've grown so much as an artist because of entering the Cure learning how to make comics.
Because of him I've also made a few really good friends online and gotten a small popularity status which is something I NEVER EVER EXPECTED.
He's also the only one of my characters that I've actually come to HATE on occasion, in small part from drama and in another part from HOW MUCH I HATE COLORING HIM. AAAAAAAAA. It feels like I can never finish the comic, his hair, sharp corner and stripes make it so time consuming! But oh well, I do really love him as a character in the end and he's probably going to go through a lot more development (especially in his design...), but he will always be my special crazy scientist, the strange combination of many different villains and cartoon characters that have influenced me over the years.

Here's to many more good years with this character, and all the projects I will do with him!
