Description
This is a Kitsune Mask, I got the idea from Gaiaonline. But I changed it up a bit because I didn't like the Gaia facial markings. I did crack in the kiln but I'm working on supergluing it (I also have the piece where it is chipped.)It took me about a month to finish. The actual shaping took about an hour and a half. The sanding took at least two hours.

Eh. I think I found a different set of cheek marks because the ones on gaia were too simplistic. But I did post it in the art arena. When they were doing the halloween contest I was going to send a picture of me with it in but I was past the dead line lol.

I'm actually having one commishned *sp* by my college. I'm going to get the mask fitted to my face, or whatever, and after that paint it myself, with my own design of course.

If fired clay is porcelin then I guess O.o I just glazed it.

Ahh. Well I'm not sure if that's porcelin either; from what I know, porcelin is the same as china. And it kinda looks like china: white and glassy looking.
...So I don't know either.

China is made from porcelain. Porcelain clay is a bitch- slippery as hell when thrown on a pottery wheel, and the only clay that is white. So if it was fired in a kiln, it's porcelain.
