They are damselfly mating...but I'm amazed by the strange behavior they have...I didn't saw anything like this...

That is realy odd, I thought there was a reflection happening at first,
It looks almost like they are playing the chicken game, where two teams have someone sitting on someone elses shoulders,
meet to try and pull one down.

A minor point, they're damselflies. But that doesn't take anything from the fact that this is one of the best insect behavioural shots I have ever seen.
