I like obscure characters. That comes as no surprise (I hope). And Cobalt/Jetter here is very, very obscure.

See, he only appeared in the original Astro Boy cartoon, in the manga, and MAYBE in the CGI movie. After that, Atlas took up the mantle of "Astro's bastard brother" and Cobalt was cast aside as to not make his role redundant. It's a shame, because he would have had a ton of potential had he not bit it in the manga (though that was quickly rewritten).

In "Rockman ni Tetsuwan Atom/Mega X Astro" (yes, it has an English name now--thanks, ~Finalzidane-X !), Cobalt is a copy of sorts of Astro Boy, built by Dr. O'Shay. Cobalt goes around helping people where Astro cannot--he's a way for Astro to be in two places at once. He is weaker than Astro, but stronger than Zoran--he's sort of like the "middle child", despite being built last.

And, if you read my journal, he apparently likes to make death-defying leaps over floating roads. My dreams are freaky. It's like being on crack...except NOT!
