actually, it doesn't really matter because in Orwell's 1984, both three superstates truly hate each other and they fight over the control of the disputed areas, which consists of North Africa, the Middle east, southern india, and parts of the pacific.

The book was written in 1948, so I thought the splitting point would have been there (so Nazis would already been dead) I agree East Asia would be Communist, as led my China, But I would have thought Eurasia would have been USSR based

Yet, even though I think of Eurasia as Nazi based, which seems suitable, because if it were USSR based, then Central Asia shouldn't be contested. However, although I made Eurasia a nazi based nation, I do believe that after reading the book, there are also signs of Mongolians who are also fighting for Eurasia. Yet, I would still compare the Eurasian High Command with the Nazi Party, Oceania with a Socialist version of the British Empire, and Eastasia with China and the Japanese Empire.

well, in my view, the world of 1984 stated with an alternate victory by the Nazis with the british Islands destroyed and were brought into the mercy of INGSOC Big Brother, leading into the formation of Oceania, Eurasia, and Eastasia
