Description
The Pegasus-class Fighter is an American starfighter that flies with lightning speed and is the main vehicle of choice within the Earth Air Force (EAF). A successor of the American F-25 Eagle, the Pegasus dominates the skies and roams throughout Earth and Mars as a protector from the skies. Unleashed by the Congress of Earth, their purpose during the war against the Sky People is to dominate the air and destroy all enemy starcraft that come to Earth. Its cockpit can slide open, allowing the pilot, along with three passengers, to get inside the vehicle. Their main weapons are their Wing Cannons, which knock out enemy fighters in one shot. The Ion Cannon under its belly shoots a blast that can disable the advisory and eventually prevent it from being far away from the firing range. Incase that fails, the Guided missile is launched to track it down and then ultimately destroy the target. Its turbo engines help make it faster while being sent into combat and thus they become the "vultures looming from the stars", as feared by the Sky People's ground forces. The Red Pegasus symbol is supposed to represent "honor and courage", since the United States proclaimed it to be a symbol of hope and valor. Although not as strong as that of its cousin, the Russian Gastello-class Starfighter, the Pegasus remains an excellent choice for Terran pilots as it is still in greatest need to knock out and destroy enemy air forces.
