Yep! matched the plastic colors where needed, painted the finer details and completely coated the rifles.

Nice and don't forget cut the front skirt in two. I think that when I get my Build Strike this Friday(It just arrived in Jacksonville FL at 3:38PM today) I'll ask my uncle for some white modeling paint since he builds model cars when he has the time too.
By the way did you know that in episode 48 of Mobile Fighter G Gundam you'll see RX-78-2 and Crossbone Gundam and in ep 49 you'll see Wing Gundam, Unit 1 fitted with the space booster pack from Gundam 0083 Stardust Memory, as well as Victory Gundam from Gundam Victory or is it V Gundam?

Not my strong suit, but one way of doing it dry brushing with a stiff hair brush.
I know Tamiya makes a number of weathering kits that sort of look like make-up sets with different colors and environments.

Testors? Frell yeah! That's my brand! I know Tamiya makes the weathering kits but you can easily do this with Testors paint too.
stiff bristled brush + silver enamel = instant metal scraping.
