Well it depends what you mean by the standard capacity...Colt makes standard 8 round ones too. 9 and 10 round ones are typically the extended types.

I didn't know they had extended 1911 mags, cool but this one is an 8 rounder

...of course they do. The thing is, for the mag in that gun to be sticking out, it'd have to be more than an 8 round magazine, because 8 round magazines fit flush in the gun from what I've researched.

Yeah no problem mate-I like to research guns and stuff for PMG designs and such, and just for curiosity. I like to use world.guns.ru ([link] ) a lot because it's easy to navigate and has a wide selection of guns from all over the world and from basically every time period. You might want to use it
