Description Kind of got lucky with this shot cause it's much more well composed than I expected. I had to set up the tripod rather quickly when I heard the cars coming lol. I think in another photo I got like this some guy honked at me, what a jerk.

fairly easy, just get a nice tri pod, click the shutter release button and make sure it holds still

Ohhh, so you just made it the hold down shutter thing. I see. Do you have a remote?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Genesis-Orbit In reply to Dshark [2007-05-10 13:04:40 +0000 UTC]

No no remote. And actually you don't have to hold down the shutter unless you want an exposure longer than 30 seconds. Most cameras range from 30 seconds to 1/4000th of a second.

great shot. if you dont mind my asking how do you take such shots? is it just a longer exposure? im no photographer but i am very into learning about it, so if you could answer that it would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Genesis-Orbit In reply to unsoundtransient [2007-05-08 00:52:31 +0000 UTC]

Yea it's a longer exposure, you pretty much put your camera on a tripod and set the exposure to like 3 seconds or more depending on what you want captured in that amount of seconds and see what happens. The tripod is just so the image stays crisp cause if your camera moves it becomes blurry.

That's an awesome shot. I'm glad there's photographer's like you around.

I'd get bored...and your pics liven up mah day from my seemingly monotone routine.
