Pallid armour stood proud of the dark heavens, golden eyes burning into the night, mechanical tail flicking in agitation over the situation as clawed feet clung securely to the airships hull. The Avatar was calm and collected, on the outside, beneath the prominent wolf Death Mask a human form bit her lip. A few things were muttered to herself, lost in the drowning onslaught of wind whistling past, it didn't matter, no one should hear those precious few words. Her artificial heart pumped faster and faster, starting an unnecessary race with the synthetic lungs in her chest, instincts were beginning to set in now.

The ship came to rest in a clearing of cloud, hovering above the barren world below, just as they had planned, now it would only be a few more seconds before their pursuers caught up. Commeatus' primary moon peeked over the wispy clouds as if to watch what would unfold, its ghostly glow giving new and needed light, the smaller twin moon remain hidden behind its big brother. The white wolf need not look to it now, her mind, sharp as a knife, was focused on the task at hand.

Soon the storm brewing in the clouds would lend their untamed power to her own.
