The Black Wallaroo is easily recognised by its shaggy, dark coat.It is a shy and mysterious creature, and very little is known about it. It lives in rocky country and is very skillful at hopping among the boulders and crags of its home. Like most marsupials it is a nocturnal animal, feeding at night and spending its days sleeping in the shade of rocks and trees.
