*takeru leans in over the railing... and amazingly enough the rambling stops*

... SQUEE~~!!! *pounces Takeru*... omg I looooooooove how this turned out... >__<... just some random sketch I doodled last night and HAD to color it... O____O... kinda a spoiler for one of my new comics though... ^___^;;;... anyways... say hi to Sango and Takeru... *love.love*... just so everyone knows I did NOT name her after the InuYasha chick... it's actually a fairly common name that means "Coral" in Japanese... which suits considering this is based of The Little Mermaid... um... the original Little Mermaid, people... not the Disney version... although that was pretty good too-- ahem*... but yeah the original with exception to a not-so-bummer ending...anyways... even though I have yet to actually get a comic down on paper, I have over 2dozen scripts in my head and always new ones on the way... at the moment I've been wanting to do a "Fairy-Tale-meets-High-School-Shoujo-Romance" series of books... so far, this one and a version of Beauty and the Beast have been planned out into single book comic/mangas each... there's a few others (Princess and the Pea, Rupunzel, Cinderella, Red Riding Hood, etc) that I've considered... but I've mainly been focusing on the current two and haven't been able to flesh out the others... XP...
kinda off topic... a weird thing I noticed is that these two look kinda like my HP original chara and my interpretation of Sirius... only he's blonde here... O___o;;;... but anyways... >___>... time for the copyright stuff...

OOoh the *original* li'l mermaid? Sweet. Although glad to hear you're chaning the ending. XD Anderson is *such* a downer ... Mermaid is actually one of his happier endings IMO ... but it still sucks. (Matchgirl anyone? I swear he was the original emo...)

yeah the whole "im gonna kill myself becuz the guy i like loves this imposter chick cuz he thinks shes me" doesnt quite work for my happy-go-lucky, shoujo romance idea... lol... but i will tell you this... at the end she does go up to the roof of the school with "prince charming" thinking shes about to commit suicide... and she ends up making a sarcastic, smartass remark like "this isn't a twisted fairytale ending, my dear prince"... hehe...
my favorite story of all time has and will always be peter pan... lol... but as far as the grimms and anderson.... hmm... maybe something like the princess and the pea... rapunzel had an interesting ending if you finished the entire thing too... O___o...

MY fav of all time is "East of the Sun and West of the Moon". Luuurve that ... not sure where ts from tho'.
I still haven't READ Peter Pan... I can't get my hands on a copy ... not to mention that I"m intesnly divided about it. XD I've always hated the Disney cartoon, because he is SO mean to Wendy .... but I love the live action that came out. XD So yeh ... *somebody* needs to get her reading done ...
