She couldn't talk in her childhood and a cyclonian doctor had a surgery on rosie-lu and implanted a small shard of a parasitic crystal that would grow on organic matter and disobeyed master cyclonus' orders, she may destroy tetras but she isn't the kind of villain that'll have the blood of innocent children on her hands. Rosie-lu would be patient zero even though she is the first victim of the cyclonian doctor. The crystal will be a cancer to anyone but grows very slowly. if it had matured, it would reacted to the crystals in a painful way.

in her past when the cyclonians took over blizzarus and been separated by a crowd, she is a slave along with the other blizzarians just like with the Terra that the gale force winds and the resistance had happened when the storm hawks had met wren and have their rescue mission to save dove. When Trip and Strong Will was at the old blizzarus, their goal was to free the blizzarians from the current cyclonians that are being their slavers. Trip used his trickster skills with making sure to make a diversion just to make sure to get the cyclonian guards have their own attention. And then make sure to have them fall on their chains that was used on the slave blizzarians and be trapped by them, making a cruel irony (pun unintended) for the cyclonians on their chains.

Strong Will made sure to have their defense systems was out of commisioned and make sure that there won't be problems for the blizzarians to escape from their current fate. All of the enslaved blizzarians were free from the cyclonians, including rosie. Rosie followed them both to the abandoned talons acedemy with the sky ride she "borrowed" from the cyclonians and flew to catch up. She can't talk and neither of them knew sign language so they didn't know their real name, so Kite called her after his mother, Elizabeth. They also gave her a codename, mute. And she taught Kite a sign language for how suzy-lu would know because it would be a code.

Whenever kite are having nightmares with his bad memories, rosie-lu went to his room lay next to him and hug him. She cannot talk but she can still hear.

zleuth believes that Elizabeth and Kite are a good couple and in my story, he was right. a perfect mentor for mute would be piper, and to the blizzarian of the Black Sky Knights, piper would be a mother figure.

in the future setting, when the parasitic crystal has been removed from mute, Trip made two bets. One with Finn that she would be able to talk in 3 days, the second with Stork that she would shout at Finn that his guitar would annoy her to speak and he was right but he hold out that she would have super powers because of the logic of the crystal removed from her. Her first power was the sonic scream, her second would be the super breath, her 3rd would be like crystal power ammunity like she would be ammune to master cyclonis' mind control like she did on Suzy-Lu in the storm hawks episode: five days when Aerrow was in a full body cast because of finn.
