Just another in-class doodle, of the one, the only, the adorable Elwood Blues!!I just rewatched this movie and fell in love with it ALL OVER AGAIN. Elwood is the cutest guy ever!
Sorry about the TERRIBLE background, if you can't tell what it is it's a bunch of records in stacks and bins, and then a bed in the background. Gah it's just awful.

Haha I am in the process of re-discovering this old love, and watching all the old SNLs now, so cute! Gah I never did see Ghostbusters. It makes me sad, apparently Bill Murray's role in that was originally supposed to be played by John Belushi :C

ah it is! I've watched a good amount of them on Hulu, i loved the Julia Child one. and Fred Garvin XDD AH YOU MUST O__O well if you have the time you reaaaally should lol its such a great film, and franchise. Yeah when Dan originally wrote the script it took place in the future and had him and John in the main roles as kind of "ghost janitors". Slimer, the green ghost that kinda became an icon from the films, was actually called "the ghost of Jon Belushi" lol. But i think Bill totally made that role his own, they were all great. I'm glad i'm getting to see more of John in these SNL clips, i only had really known him from the few times i saw Animal House where you don't get to hear him sing which sucks. they're so talented XD!

Have you seen 1941? I watched it right after I first got way into Blues Bros, it has John and Danny in a WWII comedy, but...it makes very little sense really haha! Still you get to see the boys in uniform which is a fine thing

the ending of 1941 was weird and hilarious (like the whole movie) ooh I loved it.
Doctor Detroit looks pretty random ehehhe, typical 80's comedy. Love at first sight wasn't that great, but Danny was the cutest thing ever!Oh the moustache! xD

Mm there were several Nixon/Kissinger sketches but all kind of randomly scattered, the hulu clips are kind of hard to navigate. If you have netflix, I totally recommend using the instant watch, they have ALL the early seasons on instant watch! I am doing that every night

so got almost all the way through that. alot of the sketches were ones id already
seen on hulu but they did have one with him as nixon which was really good and jon
was great as kissinger. hulu is a pain >I unimpressed internet.

I think there is a deal where you can just get the instant watch (and you get to watch that unlimitedly!) for like $9 a month? Totally worth it in my opinion, since I don't have a TV in my dorm and I use the flix entirely for my viewing entertainment

I saw this movie a million of times since I was a child and I had this tremendous crush on Elwood when I grew up. and now I'm re-discovering the old love like you (watching the old SNL and other 80s movies by Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi and John Landis which to me is a cute director)
OH and by the way, the drawing is awesome!!Even if his room is tiny (was, lol) Elwood found a place for his music. YEAH.
