This was my submission to Udon's SF fan art contest, I didn't get chosen but I'm not too surprised to be honest. Between school, commissions, work, and everything else I just didn't have the time to dedicate to this that I wanted. This it my first 100% digital piece (character art wise). I did the color (all) in one night. I have never done that!! ** So the story behind this piece is inspired by Udon Artist Alvin Lee, find an image of his piece "Possible Future" it is amazing, it shows Ryu as an old man training with a woman who can only be Sakura all grown up, I think this is by far my favorite piece of SF work Ever!!! So I took this idea and decided to ask "What would happen if Akuma gave up on the whole evil Ryu thing and decided to take in and train a new student in the TRUE ways of the Hadou (Ansatsuken)?" And Thus we have the Evil Sakura! Ok game wise there has been an "Evil Sakura-esque" character (Marvel vs SF) BUT the english translation of her name is actually "Sunburnt Sakura" despite the fact that she can perform the Shun Goku Satsu (although this is most likely the same move from the rival schools cannon that uses a different kanji as the first character, making the move the "Spring Hell Murder") thus, an Evil Sakura does not exist... until now! Ok enough geeking out on SF (although SF IV is gonna rawk, despite the new visual style) I hope you like it! Thanks for all who gave me support and continue to do so.
