I'm really attracted to that perspective on her leg thats behind the other... as weird as that sounds.

Sketchy as it may be, it still has a lot of detail. The purplish brown is working great for the shadows too.

I really like the "sketchiness", I think it really suits the character and colour palette used...
It's interesting, but she looks as if she is wearing a "ghillie suit" (special camoumflage suit for snipers to make them blend with their sourroundings) and that would explain why dryads are so hard to find...

I don't really know how many layers I used.. usually it'd be one for the background, one for the border, one for the character, one for the backlighting (which could be on the character itself but I like to have a reserve), one for the lines layer and a few for effects and adjustments.
Something like that :]
