Nice! Reminds me of Metal Gear Gander mixed with the Zone Of The Enders design style

ohsmygosh. i love it. it. is. teh. pwnage. looks more like a destroid redesign to me, though. maybe not as practical as some of the mechwarrior stuff, but definitely more awesome looking than them

!!! You did what I've always wanted to do! Yeah, redesign those godawful mechs!
Looking through your gallery I thought "this looks like somebody who wouldn't like mechwarrior..."
By the way, didja know Mechwarrior artists aren't allowed to keep Japanese artbooks in their workspace? So it's like they're conciously meant to be ugly mangled turds of a machine.
By the way, had you ever heard of the re-rejapanification of Mechs? Years ago FASA tried bringing out Mechwarrior in Japan. They had somebody redesign them. Rather strange since they were all Macross destroids in the first place.
I think you'd like it.

Absolutely bad ass design. I agree, I never liked the design's of the mech's in Mechwarrior... laim was the only word that came to mind.

i personally dont see much point to mechs having arms with hands. tends to be simply somehting that is added to make them look cooler, but is lacking in practicality

true true, one of the reasons im a fan of partial brain control. but i also lean towards less human-esque designs. donno if youve looked but almost all of mine are quad legged dual gun types that are more along the lines of a walking tank than a ultra heavy soldier made of metal

i had imagined yours mecha as lightwights. they look like they would be about 15'-20' in hight just from the way the lines work
the odd proportions is one of the reasons i like yours so much, they look almost like they would have trouble standing but at the same time there is no reason they couldnt and its rather impressive.
but seeing how your style takes a quad legger would be quite a sight, i deffinetly would like to see one of those
