Nice drawing of the manic. It's funny, my first exposure to him was during the lead-up to Age of Apocalypse where it was shown how nutso Xavier's son was but the recent Legion comic was so good that I honestly feel weird even calling David Legion since in the comic, he finds the code name derogatory because of his condition. So often in comics insanity is considered a super-power usually by itself, it was refreshing to see a sympathetic portrayal of mental illness.

Yeah, no matter how powerful a person is, the fact that they are a person is a surprisingly major limitation sometimes; even if they can do anything, what they're willing to do is more limited. Far more than Kryptonite, magic, or sun access, it's his own moral code that keeps Superman in check.

never thought about that, it's a cool way to add on limitations now that you mention it, i was reffering more to the comic version that literaly suffers from Multiple Personality Disorder and every personality is in charge of a superpower so Legion can't just reality warp all "willy-nilly" because there's a personality for every and each effect/power he wants to use and he needs to either convince them to help him or subvert them to his will, with some of them actually having agency of their own and sometimes fighting him over for control of his body (hell is implied some personalities aren't even imaginary but rather the souls of people that died nearby Legion and his latent psychic powers absorbed their psyche into his own so they are as much a person as Legion is!).
