Description
Inspired by the finale of Legend of Korra! Such a great show
Excited to be attending SDCC this year and see the Korra pannel!
Hopefully I'll get a few things signed by the creators too >.<

This piece has a very defined focal point, thanks to those strands of shock. The expression of her face also gives this piece some emotion. Asami looks like a living, breathing, believable person. However the topmost right corner looks a little pale. I am thinking this is because of where some of the light source is coming from but as highlights you used a rich orange color instead of a closer resemblance to that pale yellow/tan in the background. It makes it look like she is emitting an orange hue of her own, like something that doesn't belong in the environment. Lastly, as this is a famous character from a TV series it is nice that you added your own style to her look. She isn't the exact replica of Asami from the TV series but she is your Asami.

Make her wear a skinnier outfit, it is pin up for Christ sake, also watch out for some anatomy issue like the upper body should twisted more toward the camera, and I can't tell where her collar bones and necks are also the left arm is way too long, the hips should be wider also, since she was not an pure Asian. Last thing her boobs is way too high. You should plan more before you paint like get more reference materials and practice real anatomy, which will benefit you tremendously down your artistic path. I would suggest getting Andrew Loomis Burnt Hogarth's books and tons tons of references images. Nice work overall.

Excellent work! There's a great amount of detail here, the use of colour is fantastic, and I love her bold, cocky expression. Very well done!

It's a great picture and pose for Asami. however, to me, it looks like the fingers on the glove are a little to long and looks a little odd.
