Description

Objective:
You have been tasked with exploring the Licancabur Volcano in South America, where you discover an ancient, ruined city adorned with carved images of a massive, majestic bird, and a rather large and very hot lake. Part way through your mission though, you are attacked by youma.
Create your own one-shot youma (or several if you’re adventurous and/or teaming up!) to defeat. They've been sent by the enemy, Cassiterite Cockatrice and her bosses, so you can design them however you want! Draw/tell us about your part of the mission, subsequent battle, and finding that strange feather.

Gathering her violin, stand & a folder full of sheet music, Allegra left her room in the cavern. Closing her door, she made her way to one of the empty entertainment rooms. On her way, she noticed Jade, Spessartine Fossa, walking down the hall towards her. She smiled at the other & gave her a wave.
“Hello Jade.” Allegra said softly.
“Yo.” Jade replied.
“I was wondering, if you are free, would you like to join me? I’m working on an original piece of music for a competition & would like some suggestions on how it's going so far.” She asked.
“Absolutely! I would love to help you!” Jade answered ecstatically.
As the two walk & share some small talk about things. It was nice to bump into Jade. The two only ever had brief interactions with each other recently, so this was definitely nice as well. Setting up in an empty entertainment room, Allegra gave a smile to Jade.
“So, I call the piece ‘Euphoric Fairytale’. It is supposed to give you the feeling of a fairytale in motion. It captures that magic & tells a story. The piece is still a work in progress, but any suggestions you have, I am all ears.” Allegra explained.
“Understood. I am here for you.”
As Allegra took a stance, she took a deep breath before playing. Her bow glided against the strings of her violin. Her fingers move in a direction to change the sound of each motion. Her breathing started to match the movement & sounds. Her body started to sway with each note. Notes filled the room, ringing off the crystal walls before sneaking their way out. With each glide, more notes spilled into the caverns themselves. Echoing smoothly, filling every hall. She felt so in her element. The bow glided one last time before lifting her cheek & lowering her instrument.
“Amazing!” Jade said, clapping in awe.
“Thanks.” she replied. “Anything?”
“Could you play it again? Something in the third bar sounded a bit lower than it should have sounded.” Jade mentioned.
“Hmm.” Allegra looked the section over to find she had miswritten the note. “Thanks! I messed up there.” Taking a stance, she started playing again.
As the sound ricocheted against the walls again, another girl came running down the halls. Turning the corner, Maria popped her head into the entertainment room. Her purple eyes widened as she watched Allegra play. She could feel the story moving with each motion. Sneaking inside, she sat next to Jade. Maria gave a soft wave while the two listened. Allegra was so talented.
As the second time came to an end, Allegra shifted herself before opening her eyes. She smiled seeing Maria with them now too. Before they could speak, they heard Jun’s voice chime throughout the caverns. The three of them listened to the orders that were being given by the wonderful taskmaster Jun. As the broadcast came to an end, Maria looked at the other two.
“Would you two want to go together?” Maria asked.
“I don’t mind. I know you are more of an offensive based senshi Maria, so i can support you.” Allegra mentioned.
Jade sat there, hesitant for a moment to join them. She nodded quietly, agreeing to join Allegra & Maria. If Cassiterite Cockatrice was the mastermind behind this, she would be good bait at drawing her out. Then the three of them could capture her.
“Give me a moment to return my things to my room & I'll come back to meet you ladies.” Allegra said, packing her things up. Rushing to her room, she set everything on her bed & returned. “Shall we go?”

“Solar Spessartine Power, Make Up!”
“Tsavorite Anima Power, Make Up!”
“Imperial Topaz Anima Power, Make Up!”
The three of them found themselves standing at the base of a mountainous area. Maria could see Licancabur Volcano in the distance. As the three stood together, they looked around before making a plan.
“What should we do?” Tsavorite asked.
“I think we should get right to where the action is. Once there, we can figure things out.” Spessartine jumped right in.
“Works for me.” Imperial Topaz replied. Her wings started to buzz, as her feet left the ground. “I’ll be the eyes in the sky & see if anything out of the ordinary pops up as we travel.” WIth a salute motion, Imperial Topaz took off.
Spessartine & Tsavorite stayed close to the ground & took off running along the base of the mountain to reach their destination. Running, jumping, dodge & crouching, the two kept a steady pace. Arriving at the base of the volcano, the two watched Maria fly overhead doing some recon before returning to them.
“What do you see?” Spessartine asked
“I couldn’t see much. There is too much smoke coming from the area for me to get close and see anything.” Imperial Topaz informed them.
“Now what?” Tsavorite asked.
“We’ll just have to get close via the ground. It could be a trap, so stay close ladies.” Spessartine took command.
As the three approached these large stone gates, their eyes darted around in sight of something, anything that could be deemed as suspicious. Slowly making their way inside, they were met with a large boom of smoke that came barrelling towards them. “Aero Buzz!” Clapping her hands on her brooch, Bee intakes air into her lungs & lets out a screeching sound that would usually be used as an AoE against an enemy, but she repurposed it to keep them safe. As the smoke cleared, they found themselves facing a large youma on the other side. This was a set up & an ambush. Looking at each other, they had to improvise something since they didn't have time to plan anything.
“Marriner Atteggiamento: Tremolo Agitato!” With her brooch glowing, Tsavorite takes the stance of a conductor, waving her hands, as if controlling an orchestra, this song enrages the opponent, but muddies its mind. “I’ve bought us some time. Time to regroup.” Tsavorite whispered before jumping behind a wall. The other two followed.
“What should we do?” Imperial Topaz asked the others.
“I’ll use myself as a distraction. You two should see if you can get a hold of anyone else for help” Spessartine told them. Before they could reply, Spessartine jumped out from their hiding spot.
Imperial Topaz went chasing after Spessartine while Tsavorite stayed behind to think of something. Just rushing in wouldn’t solve anything but how could they come up with something that works? They don't really know each other's abilities that well, other than Imperial Topaz being more of an offensive attacker & Tsavorite herself being a ‘bard’. What was Spessartine like on the battlefield?
Looking over the wall, Tsavorite watched as the Spessartine got near the youma. Imperial Topaz was not far behind but was caught off guard. The youma swung its arm, crashing into her and sending her flying back into a wall. Tsavorite charged out to check on her while Spessartine became angry. She watched the other get swatted away like a bug. Getting underneath the youma, Spessartine closes her eyes, bringing her hands up to frame the brooch on her chest - wrists crossed and hands tilted back so that the tips of her middle fingers touch. A pulse of light ripples through the gems on her body and fuku - starting from her tiara cluster and working down to her belt brooch before pulsing again back upwards - as she inhales a deep breath. Once the pattern is complete, her eyes snap open, shouting Blazing Incandescence, her hands flinging wide and her body leaning slightly forward with feet planted wide apart. The gems on her body blaze to life, covering the immediate 5' radius around her in blinding light.
Just annoyed, Imperial Topaz, with the help of Tsavorite, pulled herself from the rubble. Taking to the air again, Imperial Topaz kept her distance but was ready to attack. Tsavorite went to the other side of Spessartine before attacking as well. “Marriner Atteggiamento: Tremolo Agitato” With her brooch glowing, Allegra takes the stance of a conductor, waving her hands, as if controlling an orchestra, this song enrages the opponent, but muddies their mind. Watching from the sky, Imperial Topaz smiled. “Sonic Stinger!” Tapping her brooch, an elongated cone comes out. Throwing it in the air, Bee jumps up & hits the bottom of the cone like a volleyball spike, sending it flying at the enemy. The cone pieces the youma, causing it to dissolve into black smoke.
The girls regroup & Spessartine checks on Imperial Topaz. Showing she’s fine, they see a glowing feather where the youma stood. Picking it up, the girls headed to the caverns exhausted.

This was such a fun collaboration! It was nice to Allegra to meet a new friend & get to hangout with an current one. The new friend being PinkVampire Jade & the old being Sakuragi-no-Miko Maria. The writting was a combination of myself & Sakuragi-no-Miko while the art was made by the super talented PinkVampire
