They destroyed most of them, blue as well. Millions of aphids.

I have researched the aphids as they seemed so large. They appear to be foxglove aphids. which can be a real problem in the spring and early summer as they thrive in cooler conditions. we have just had one the chilliest starts to june for many years. They do not need a male to multiply and their daughters are born already pregnant and multiply rapidly. They also have toxic saliva which causes leaves to curl and wilt eventually killing the plant. I have never seen anything like it
