Description On 29th June 2013, the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway marked its 45th anniversary with a re-enactment of the inaugural train to run over the route in preservation. It is seen here behind 41241, approaching Oakworth station.

Originally allocated to the Somerset & Dorset, 41241 spent a year in North Wales before being allocated to Skipton for the last few months of its working life, from where it went to the KWVR under its own steam. The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway was made famous in 1970, when it was used for the filming of The Railway Children.
